Sure- it happens. You meet a person who is great looking, and assume he/she has all the qualities you want, but as you get to know them, you realize they're boring or you have nothing in common.

That's very common occurance. If I am not very mistaken, it happens with women more than it happens with men. Women often like someone a lot initially and then they start seeing grey areas. This also explains that women care for more of personality and attitude than just the physical looks. Physical looks can not be deceptive, but personality and attitude can. So is why women tend to change their opinion of people in course of time. But guys don't face this problem so frequently. As they more often than not, go for physical looks and can be happy as long as the looks are satisfying.

Yes it really sucks when you think some one is so amazing because you talk to that person here and their then you go out with that person and discover he's not going any where with his life and all that stuff he will tell you was all a lie Big disappointment

Of course, I think everyone has. They will build up the best things about themselves or "stretch" the truth to make them look more fun. Everyone does it, that's why it takes time for a relationship to build so you can find out what the other is about on all levels.

I think everybody has had that happen to them. You are crazy about someone but when you finally get them to liking you, you find that you really can't see what you ever saw in that person.
