First, take chicken across. Then pick up the fox and drop it off with the chicken. Quickly before the fox eats the chicken get the chicken and drop it to the other side with the corn. Before the chicken eats the corn pick up the seeds and drop it over the other side with the fox because the fox wont eat the corn. Last go back and pick up the chicken and take it to the other side so you can watch them all. Then they wont eat each other!

First he brings the chicken, because the corn and fox are the only two things that can be left together.
Then he brings the corn, but has to take the chicken back so it won't eat the corn.
Then he leaves the chicken alone while he takes the fox to the other side, where he leaves the fox with the corn.
Then he goes back to get the chicken and bring it to the other side, where he can then supervise all three.

He should go across with the chicken and leave the fox and the corn behind.
Go back and get the fox and leave it on the other side and take the chicken back with him.
Then Leave the chicken while he takes the corn. Leaves the corn with the fox and goes back alone to get the chicken.
Then brings the chicken back.
They are all together on the other side.

I've heard this one before. First he takes the chicken across, leaving the fox w/ the corn. Then he takes the fox across and switches it w/ the chicken. He takes the chicken back, and switches it w/ the corn. Takes the corn across and leaves the corn and fox on the other side. Goes back to get the chicken and thats your answer.

Trip 1: He should take the chicken across.
Trip 2: He should take the corn across, but bring the chicken back.
Trip 4: He should take the fox across.
Trip 5: He should take the chicken across.
...and they all lived happily ever after.

Okay, he goes across with the chicken in the boat to side B and leaves the chicken on there. He then goes back to side A, takes the corn to side B and brings back the chicken to side A. He leaves the chicken on side A and brings the fox with him to side B and leaves him there. The guy goes to side A and brings the chicken with him to side B.
