No I don't think its sad at all. In fact I know many people your age that do this and a few even say it's a great way to meet people and some even begin their relationships by watching a few movies together.
Go on! Get out there! Go watch a movie, sit back relax and enjoy!

Nah, it ain't sad to go to the cinema by yourself. You'd watch a film at home on the tele on your own wouldn't you? You can't always drag along someone who wants to watch the same film as you, so you might as well go on your own, and not have to put up with up any moaning from anybody else if it turns out to be pants.
Plenty of people go on their own to the cinema anyway.

Not at all - at least you will be out. Better than sitting in by yourself. Once you are in the cinema no-one really cares one way or the other.
