If it's a boy, he'll do great. Should it be a girl, she'll be absolutely fine until she is pregnant and has her puppies. For those 3 months, she won't want to play at all or be nice to people.

Pomeranians, like most all tiny dogs, are often very nervous around kids. And with a terrier mixed in, it totally depends on the temperaments of the parents of the dogs, as well as whether or not your kids know how to act around dogs. If the dog you want to get has a good temperament and your kids can treat a dog properly, you shouldn't have a problem.

sounds like a cute dog. ive heard stories of pomeranians being "toe biters" and i know terriers need alot of exersice. i think the dog would act fine around them as long as you treat it with respect & your kids do as well. making sure you dont leave your six year old to alone with it and that everyone is gentle. really there shouldnt be any problem as long as it has a good temperment and is trained right. my neighbors have a 2 year old daughter and a jackrussel terrier and there are no problems. yet pomeranians are also known to latch on to one person. and it might not be the best choice as a family dog. i have two chihuahuas and i thought they would latch on to only one person but it turns out they love everyone in the family equally. well i hope i helped you out a little andgoodluck on finding the right breed!

This depends on the training of the dog and the kids.
unsupervised kids can occassionally (and often unknowingly) do things that seem fine to them, but are torture for an animal. (although, with the exception of the 6 year old, they may be old enough to have a good understanding of how to treat an animal)
But well trained dogs, well socialized dogs, and well schooled kids..they should be fine.
THe behavior of the animal is determined by the behavior of the owner.

Pomeranian's are jealous and they tend to only attach themselves to one person. My sister had one before kids and had to get rid of him once the baby was born. 8 years and two kids later she got another one and it only likes her and it bites the kids when they try to touch her and she barks (yaps) all day long.
