what can happen if you tell a 4 yr old or a 3 yr old about sex?

If you tell a young child about sex they will not understand but just think that they are jsut some new words and will start spitting out innapropriate language in the grocery store.

3 and 4 year olds have no idea what sex is, nor will they ever understand it even if you tried to explain! children do NOT need to learn about sex at this age!
they have enough to think about, starting school and nursery, learning new things every day and maybe still potty training! why complicate their wee lives anymore than we need to????
i dont think there is any chance of a 3/4 year old actually HAVING sex, so why do they need to know?

most 3 and 4 yr olds can't tie their shoes...why would you be worried about telling them about sex? Their attention span is very little and they will only remember certain words you say anyway...you don't want them going to school saying something like my mommy and I had sex, instead of my mommy and I talked about sex? What are you thinking?

It's pointless - they do not understand the concept and can probably come out with some inappropriate and embarassing verbal outbursts at this age.
