I could swear the guy I'm dating whispered "I love you" in my ear while we were having s e x, but when I asked him about it he said he didn't remember saying it. Could he have said it and forget? Could it have slipped out and he's trying to cover it up by pretending it didn't happen? Thanks for your help!!

Yes, it could have slipped out and he really did mean it however, when you confronted him about it he did not wish to reveal the truth at that moment. Don't nag him about it. When he is ready to reveal his true feelings to you he will.

He got lost in the moment. He probably said it probably doesn't remember. If the magic between you two is that good, wait, he'll come around and say it for real. I don't think he's hiding it. If it was just something to say to get you off, he would have screamed it out. Going to the effort of whispering in your ear shows real emotion in the heat of passion.

Why don't you just ask him? It's better not to make foolish assumptions that can lead to anxiety during or after sex with this man. I suggest that you have a conversation with him about it - if he doesn't give you a definite answer - try this:
Have sex with him again and listen to him, see if he mutters"I love you" due to the 'heat of the moment" ; if he doesn't fess up to saying it - just write it off as something he said during sex. If so - I would ask him to re evaluate his feelings for you and whether or not it is fair to say such things (that are misleading) during sex. The last thing you need is to have this guy mislead you and fool you into thinking that he loves you - when he really doesn't .

It's possible that it slipped out in the heat of the moment and now he doesn't know what to do. On the other hand maybe you've been wanting to hear it so you just thought that whatever he said was I Love You.

A lot must be taken into account. Love takes time if you haven't been seeing each other very long then most likely he was caught up in the moment. People often say things during the heat of passion that either they didn't mean or was premature.

If he really loves you he will tell you at other times than sex. If he only says it during sex then BEWARE in reality he might say he loves you when in reality he loves having sex with you.

Don't take anything to heart that is said during the heat of the moment...that doesn't mean he doesn't love you but we are all a different animal when "in the act"...bring it up again when you are alone together and see what happends

When guys and girls are having sex there are 2 completly different thought processes happening. The girl is thinking of how this is making her feel, how much she loves this guy, and blah blah blah. The guys brain is nearly turned off all he is thinking about is how great he feels. SO in short is it possible for him to have forgotten, yes.

Well if he said it without meaning too I would wonder if he meant it or if it was just a momentary thing.

If he does truely love you, he will eventually tell you in an unmistakeable way.

Good luck.

I wouldn't take anything said during sex to heart. You already asked him and his response was dont remember saying it. Doesn't that show you that you shouldn't take it to heart ?

He whispered, "I LOVE f*cking YOU."
