Kittens are extremely playful, so it gives them company, as they are social creatures (they'll sleep together, play together, etc.)
My friend did this, and it was the best move. Her kittens were brothers and were completely comfortable with each other. Then, when she left during the day, she always knew they wouldn't feel lonely.

I just adopted 2 kittens brother and sister and I'm so glad I didn't just get one. They are so so funny together and yes it is true if they have each other to play with they wont trash your house. They have play toys but they play with each other the most. They are never lonely! Ive always had just one cat at a time and having 2 at once is so much more enjoyable for them than just being alone. They are not hard work at all only lazy people say cats are hard work cause they are the easiest animal and most lovable to have as a pet. I def recommend 2 kittens at a time!!!

The biggest benefit is that the kittens will have playmates- which is great especially if they will be left alone while everyone is at work/school. (This will allow them to use up some of their kitten energy on each other rather than the general house).
And if you get them together, they will grow up as siblings- so expect a few scuffles, but nothing serious. They'll be best buddies for life. -- Just remember to have them spayed/neutered- even littermates that are the same gender and aren't fixed will get territorial on each other.

Adopting two kittens at the same time is a great idea!
Kittens can be rough when they play and having another kitten to play with teaches them to control their rough behavior.
Kittens are most active at night and want to play when you want to sleep, another kitten gives them a playmate.
With two kittens you will have happier better socialized cats.

Its no longer necessary yet a stable theory. Its no longer that far extra high priced to feed and vet 2 kittens. And below 6 months, they do get lonely. whilst your cat would be chuffed on my own, keep in mind which you will have some issues introducing a cat or kitten while your kitten is grown. women tend to be extra territorial then men while a sparkling cat is obtainable interior the homestead - they take longer to settle for. as quickly as we've been given our Oci male, our woman hated him for over 6 months (she nevertheless would not like him that plenty). while the 2d male Oci got here, she surely regular him interior of a month.

I have two that are brother and sister. Since they were liter mates they have never been separated. They are great together.
Even though they are from the same liter they are totally different personalities. They are really funny together. When I am at work they keep each other company. Oh course the downside is when they are running through the house in the middle of the night there are two of them running across the bed instead of one.

They will be able to play with each other and not be lonely. Some kittens when adopted by themselves tend to cry when they are by themselves so two kittens would be better of being adopted.

It's better to get two cats because they are naturally very social creatures. This is especially important if you are going to be gone for any long periods of time, like an 8 hour work shift. Since we both are gone at least 8 hours, we got two cats so they could keep eachother company. It usually helps keep them out of trouble and from getting bored and destroying things. It also eliminates separation anxiety. Have fun!

well if you work and the cat will be alone all day in the house, having a sibling tends to keep the cat from destroying furnature or something else. I got two siblings cats and they keep each other company while everyone is out. Double the kitty food but in the long run it's worth it.
