He is not in any of my classes because he is in a different school (my school has four smaller schools, it is hard to explain. I am i the school of science and he is in the school of international business). Anyway, I have talked to him before and he does look at me but I do not know what to do. He also sat next to me at lab but I am kind of shy when it comes to things like this (I am not really shy, only when it comes to guys).

First of all Ohay,
you can't GET someone to be your boyfriend.
Don't expect him to ask you out just yet.
You have to get over your shyness or he really ISN'T going to ask you out.
Think about it.
How is this boy going to ever ask you out,
if he doesn't know much about you, you know?
The best way for you to get him to notice you more,
is to become his best friend.
Talk to him a lot. Get friendly,
but don't ask him to hang out for a few weeks.
Keep talking to him,
and if you think things are going well,
then ask him to hang out in a group kind of way,
to avoid making this a date kind of thing.
Guys WILL get attracted to their best friends who are girls.
It's in the human nature.
Which means,
you have to be his best friend first.
It may take awhile,
but take my word for it.
If all goes well,
sooner or later he'll develope feelings for you.

Before you even try to make him your b/f you need to be his friend first. You are gonna have to not be shy around him and start small talk or ask him if he would like to get together sometime. When you do go out then that is where you find what he likes and doesn't or what his hobbies are...see if you two are compatible before wanting to take the lunge of him being your b/f you never know you may get to know him and change your mind...just be patient...relationships take time to build...good luck!!

I am shy around guys as well. Flirt with him a little, maybe ask if he wants to go see a movie and out to dinner with some friends or to a sporting event. Try to spend more time with him so you can get to know each other better.

Don't get all nervous around him, just go out and be yourself, try asking him to have a casual lunch with you..... don't be all flirty or anything just ask him out and get a chance to know each other!

girls are more upfront these days so if you just asked him if he was dating or had a girlfriend that would let him be aware you r interested and if he is he will let u know
