Does anyone know which CD/DVD/VHS recorder would have the correct inputs to connect my freestanding cassette player and turntable to? I heard that JVC may make such units.

I don't think you can get a DVD recorder to successfully record audio cassettes, but you can certainly do this yourself on your PC.

Yes, You can transfer VHS and cassettes to CD/DVD. I bought mine at Radio Shack for $300 2 years ago and it works great. However, I am not familiar about record albums to CD/DVD. I'm sure this can be done because we purchased a Nat King Cole on CD's and I'm pretty sure that was originally recorded on a record album.
