I actually have the same problem with my dog, he seems to be calming down as he gets older. I've taken him to so many trainers that made it worse at the time and seemed to agitate him more. After giving up trying and relaxing more myself, it seems the dog has too. As long as you muzzle him around people he doesn't know then I would try not to let it worry you. No eye contact and ignoring him from those who he's not sure of also helps. A good dog whisperer is something I've been tempted to try
