God could be female, didn't you see Dogma? But seriously, the Bible was written by males way back when females didn't really have a place in government and society, so of course they made God a male. But really, I don't think God is either male or female. Holy Spirit likewise. Jesus just took the form of a man, but could have just as well been a female, but I'm sure his being a man helped his credibility somewhat.

God is neither man or female. Jesus came to earth as a man, but that does not mean that as part of the trinity, he is male. He is referred to in the bible in the male gender because that is what author decided to use to refer to God. God is neither male nor female. Both men and women were created after gods image.

Interesting trinity... god, son and barnyard animal. I've heard stories about this kind of stuff!!!

But seriously I have always believed that the trinity was Mother, Father and child.

Christian Wiccans believe that the Holy Spirit is a female, the goddess.

Personally I believe that God and spirits/souls are neither distinctly male of female.

Who said one of them wasn't?
If you read the bible accurately, you will find that God is Spirit and is discribed with both Masculine and Feminine Traits?

Actually, there will be NO Gender in Heaven as all humans are made in the Image of God. (Body, Soul, Spirit)

You are trying to ascribe on morality question to another religion. Look at the roles described in the Bible. God is the masculine as what is described in the Bible. It is as simple as that.

For those that say there is no gender in heaven, I am not really sure that the Bible supports that.
