heyy same here i'm pretty normal in weight and i'm taller than average but my thighs are a bit bigger n its gets quite annoying especially when you go shopping 4 jeans etc... most people would tell you that doing a lot of cardio/aerobic workouts will make your legs smaller. Basically a bunch of calorie burning exercise...maybe try squats or lunges...hope that helps..

First, I'd like to put a suggestion to you: is there some way that you could learn to love the way you look? Speaking from a personal viewpoint, I prefer females with larger thighs and hips, while not being too heavy on top. I think it's feminine and attractive.

What are you trying to accomplish by contorting your body image? It won't make you more attractive, it will just make you attractive to a different set of people while making you less attractive to others. Focus on being a positive, outgoing person that loves herself; that quality is far more attractive than any 5lb difference in body proportion. Anybody being ugly to you about your legs is trying to make themselves feel better by putting others down--tell them to f*** off.

Anyway, to answer your question, playing basketball and cross country are both excellent choices for lowering your thigh size. Long distance running will reduce the size of your thighs, although sprints and power-exercises like lunges and squats will make them larger. Focus on extended-time exercise of your legs and avoid anaerobic exercise for legs like weightlifting.

But before you dedicate your youth to attaining the "perfect" body type that doesn't exist, please consider just accepting yourself and enjoying your youth instead.

what you should do, is stength train your upper body. for Woman, you will never bulk up like a male does, instead, since your lower body is good shape, why not contribute to your upper body. you will have a more natural, attractive look if you equal everything out.
