After the midterm elections, many illegal aliens were saying "we won". For some reason, they think the Democrats are going to push amnesty for illegal aliens. I think they are backed by the same big business money that backs the Republicans, and may sound like they will, but really have no intentions. (notice how they already have burried it in their agenda) What do you think?

I think the only reason democrats won is because Americans wanted to wake Bush up and let him know we are tired of the way he is running things,And even if the democrats say they will grant amnesty it is only for the pro illegals votes, after elections amnesty will be forgotten,Americans would never allow that ,it would be a bloody war.

No I don't think so. It will only perpetuate the problem. They will squirrel around for as long as they can. There will need to be some kind of big incident to make anything happen. Someone from Yahoo Answers will have to saturate themselves in gas and go down burning before anything really happens on this. Too many BIG people are making money, it's good for the politics end as so many legals have illegal folks here they are hiding away or supporting. They want their fams in.
The system will continue to crumble. The wall and employer sancitons are the only way this problem is going to stop. Yes, all the Demo don't want to talk about it anymore. It's a poison, no win issue that will cost billions of dollars ...and yet, the system for middle class AMericans continues to tumble and fall.
Middle level AMericans will pay for this outrage ..and have been paying.

Only three Democrats voted against SB2611. Of course they're in favor of amnesty. However, the Dems who won in 2006 were overwhelmingly anti-illegal immigration, at least in their campaign rhetoric. They know that there is nearly zero support for amnesty.

The propaganda machine is in high gear now, with bogus polls showing support for the invaders, and sob stories about poor pitiful illegals being rounded up at Swift meatpacking plants. We must not let this propaganda succeed. If there is amnesty, then there will be armed resistance.

Absolutely. This is the one thing that the Libs, and Bush are on the same wave link. It's also the one thing that I disagree with President Bush about. The Dems want illegals over here so they can get votes. All dead beats are victims to the Libs, and victims make good voters for the Libs. President Bush, I believe has a soft spot for the illegal criminals, because Jeb's wife is a w3tb@ck, and came over illegal.

The militia has been depleted. they are already signing up Mexican lads and ladies appropriate left and centre and giving them and their families on the spot citizenship. you incredibly won't be able to assume something with this insane beast stated as the yank government! It concerns not ... what share cases might desire to I REPEAT THIS KIDDIES... who runs the government. they are all self serving and under the administration of an identical Masters so as that they shop on an identical schedule. they might replace some information so the everyday public is fooled, yet issues in no way incredibly replace. As Lenin stated, It would not remember who the human beings vote for, they consistently get US. John S has a factor there. THE GOVERNMENTS shop all human beings unaware of the NAFTA. I test the information every day and notice not something virtually interior the information. meanwhile human beings get all riled up over something they might do not something approximately. different than hate. and that's a factor of the schedule. Social unrest is an exceedingly appropriate state for the US government ~ they might pull off greater scams upon us all.

I am probably totally wrong but I think that the Dems are more dependent on the middle class and lower class for their votes than the Repubs and will have to answer to those people in two years if they don't start some serious fence building and deportations. The only ones who gain by allowing illegals to stay are the big corporations and those corporations pretty much have the Repubs in their back pocket or we would have seen a fence and deportations already.

I think the person who wants to become an American citizen need to do the whole process to become a citizen. The language is imperative. The knowledge of our history and our government system. The ways we get things done. A free get out of jail is not going to help. Freedom is a responsibility, and to be an American we need to be accountable that we are willing to accept that responsibility.

When you say "illegal aliens" are you talking about the greys or the big lizards?

I don't think it will happen. I don't think Americans will let it happen. The issue probably won't even be addressed for awhile. The first thing on their agenda is raising the minimum wage.

I think Bush and the Dems will use that issue to demonstrate their "bi-partisanship" and ability to work together to America's detriment.
