Value Jet as a company does not exist anymore. After there accident in 199 the company was purchased and merged with Air Tran Airways and created a new company named Air Tran Airlines.

I say travel AirTran Airways. They have GREAT deals (prices starting at around $69 one-way) and they fly the youngest fleet of Boeing 717's and 737's within the United States (aka newer aircraft) . They are also extremely friendly and offer xm satellite radio service on all their flights!

Fly Southwest. Havent heard much good on value jet, maybe just the lingering of their crash down south years ago.
