My boyfriend and I have been having some issues lately. he has been a little disrespectful and selfish lately. I have tried to talk to him about it but he is saying that he soesn't think that he is and that I am just blowing things out of porportion. So I sort of piped down to let things blow over. Then within the last couple of days 2 of his good friends have told me that they don't understand why I am puttig up with his sh-t. They each talked to me seperately and told me things like how he does this to every girl he has dated once he starts to get close. The one told me that he thinks that I could change him, but I need to know what kind of challenge I am going to have. Pretty much they both were conserned. Neither of them were hitting on me or anything.
So my question is.....
should I tell my boyfriend that even his friends see how bad he treats me?
OR
Should I keep my mouth shut about his friends, otherwise I will be opening a whole new door of problems?

Actuallu you should do neither. I wou;dn't say anything to him about what his friends said. I would tell him I don't like the way he's treating me, and tell him to get lost. By sticking around and putting up with his poor behavior you are only telling him that it is okay, and it will only get worse, while he puts you through the ringer to see how much you will take. Don't walk away, RUN

sorry you are having the problem. You need to ask him if you can have a civilized open discussion about your relationship. A new years chat call it. Ask him what his goals are for you 2, focus on things that both of you can do to improve the relationship. Let him know what you want. It would help to see if he wants a relationship, or a friendship with sex. Men pretty much suck at relationships and they need a goal and a focus. Find out what he wants, let him know what you want, then expect him to meet his goals and you yours.

I would say, shush about the friends. I'm sure they told you this in confidence, and it's not necessary to say anything to him. It's not like it's not common information. There is no need for him to be a jerk, and no requirement for you to put up with it.

I wouldn't repeat what his friends have said. That is just a baaaad idea.

Don't tell him. You need to decide if he is worth all the emotiona; effort that he seems to need.
