Your question presumes that the fabric of reality is contained within 3 dimensions and time. Unfortunately modern science has some serious questions about exactly what constitutes reality. Super string theories abound with multiple dimensions, some with 10, 14, 16, 21 or more...

To answer your question you must be able to imagine a scenario where time as never existed. (Time is relative to gravity and where you have extreme gravity, as in a black hole, you have no time.) You must be able to imagine in over 16 dimensions. You have to have environment where the laws of nature and energy does not exist.

Christians have no answer that makes sense, so they do what they always do - say something inane like "he has always existed" and then close their minds to all the irreconcilable implications of their statements and blissfully continue through life on their path of ignorance.

Well that's a smart Q, which most of us cross their mind.
But what we know that ALLAH has no start or end i.e not every thing apply to us as human would apply to ALLAH. Also, not to other creatures, since our law is different.
