My favorite is Captain Morgan's Original Spice Rum, it has a buttery flavor and the spice really adds the perfect touch. I can drink it straight or my favorite way, is on ice with coke and a slice of lime.

I won't say what the source is , nor what it is about. RUM.
In one word the sorcerers worst attempt. True that it is a
tasty cordial, occasional liquor. Pronounced R U dum. This is
a strong elixir based concoction that best be had in tiny doses,
at tiny weekend dinners. Sorry, being a psychologist and md,
my grandad fought in the jamican solo hero wars, and the
pirates of the caribbean are still real, although making up some
real mean substitutes, and no one knows fakes. Problem is
what you are right about, the properly made morgans is my
example, it has maybe 500 to one fakes out there. Happy

Captain Morgan's Orignal Spiced Rum is the only kind of rum I drink. Some kinds taste really really nasty....
Captian and Coke is my choice drink...

Captain Morgan is my favorite too!! I usually just drink it with coke, but a restaurant near my house has started making some kind of mango drink with it that is really good. I also drink it with cream soda or sunkist during the summer, and with hot apple cider in the winter.

CRUZAN rum all the WAY! Rum punch is the way to go too,
3 oz pineapple juice
3 oz orange juice
3 oz lime juice
8 dashes Angostura bitters (optional)
6 oz Cruzan rum
2 oz simple syrup

I agree, the Captain is very nice w/ just a smidget of cola, although for a while they did sell a six pack that was premixed cola and captain. I forget what that was called,on top of that they used to have Tequiza also, which tasted like a premixed corona, small shot of tequilla, and lime flavor to it.in a simple sixpack.oh that stuff tasted so good..i know it's better to make it yourself but those ""brand name"" premixed ones came oout really really good. -m

Cruzan!!!!! Nothing better! Oaky, somewhat sweet, aromatic.
Good just neat or on the rocks. But it also makes a good Rum and coke.
