Who's fault is it? My sister already knows that Im not good with directions and then on top of that she gave me wrong ones. The only reason shes mad is cuz Im driving her car. She keeps sayin that I should've got off the exit that looked familiar instead of following the directions SHE gave me. She wont admit the fact that her directions were wrong.

You will be laughing about this incident one day but for now just let it go. You asked her for directions and she goofed and then you did not double check them on Mapquest or Google Maps.

Next time just go to a Mapping Website that provides directions and print them out before you leave home.

If she gave you the wrong directions on purpose, then it is her fault. If she thought she gave you the right directions then it was an accident. When you realized you were lost did you stop to ask directions or call someone or did you just keep driving around knowing that you were going the wrong way? And is it really worth holding a grudge against your sister just to get her to admit she was wrong?

You obveously have a computer, next time use the mapquest and then you wont get lost. If you do not know where you are going, how you get there is on you. You ask an unreliable person and got screwed outta some gas, so what? did you at least enjoy the time out of the house? MAP QUEST your next adventure and have some fun.

its called a map no one is at fault. these things happen. next time get more than one opinion and check the map. I'm not good at directions at times but if i feel im lost i get off where its familiar and ask directions.i have 8 sisters including me why blame one. maybe you should have taken her along.

I would just shrug your shoulders and move on. If she wants gas money give her some. You only have one family so don't drag this on into something bigger that will eventually destroy your friendship. Just double check any directions she may give you in the future before leaving.

I would tell your sister "Build a bridge...get over it" I was following YOUR directions while driving YOUR car . It's that simple..shes wrong.

Well, two sides:

She is to blame: bad directions.

You are to blame: not getting correct directions.

Solution: Move on to something more important than this... Worst case, offer half the gas money...

Yours, because you listened to them. I always ask two people directions. If they are the same then I will use it; if they differ I will ask another person.

Ah, sisters. Always so quick to try to assign blame. It's just a bunch of crap that happened. Let it go.
