why do girls complicate things? they hard to understand sometimes. there's this girl who a month ago i got to know better in sociology class. she started talking to me a lot and she used to be in some of my class projects. one day after school she asked me if i could give her a ride home cause she lives in the same town as me. she is a junior in high school and im a senior. she defintiely liked me. she would say hi to me in the hallways during the day and try to start a conversation somehow. one day i didnt bring ma car and she was like" you better bring it tommorow!! and smiled at me. then the day before christmas break i got her a small gift, it was a sephora gift card25 bucks and she liked it and i kissed her on the cheek and then i didnt see her during christmas break and when i got back to school after break she doesn't talk to me at all. she ignores me unlike b4. i sure i didnt mean to shock her, i like her and thats why i gave her the gift. why do you think shes acting like this

Maybe she became shy and did not how to act around u. You should take the next step, ask her out on a date, maybe. Guys should act first !

Ok if she didnt sleep wit u then shes not a hoe, and what kind of cutie accepts a gift and then acts like she dont know u? I say she is a gold diggin BYTCH! She probably thought it would be cool 2 ride in the car wit a senior and then brag to her friends. Maybe when u bought her that gift she realized that u might really like her, and she felt guilty for using u. So now she just quit talkin 2 u altogether. 4get stupid people like her.

She might have been shocked by the gift card, or she was just using you for the rides home. Now that she knows that you like her, she might not like you in the same way and this is her way of letting you know that she is not into you.

She could be either! Maybe she just wants to be friends, or just get rides home from you. Or, maybe she's shy and doesn't know how to go about having a relationship with you. The only way you're going to find out is to ask her.

Better you find that out now how she is, especially before things get more serious. Saves you a lot of heartache and drama. Consider yourself lucky. I would however confront her and ask her what the deal is, especially if you like her as much as you say you do.

She either played you and used you for your car, or She really liked you and you kissing her on the cheek some how scared her.

hmm... personally, i wont buy a gift for anyone unless me and that person have some kind of relationship (family, friend, or girlfriend)... if the interactions you've had with this girl are all listed here, then you were little more then aquantances, and i dono how she could have felt then...

She's playing hard to get. If you want to know if she likes you, ask her out. Hopefully her parents will say no since she is so young, but you will know for sure if you ask her.
