Sugar in the first ingredient, then gelatin. Here's the list from a pack of cherry jell-o:
Sugar, Gelatin, Adipic Acid (For Tartness), Contains Less Than 2% Of Artificial Flavor, Disodium Phosphate And Sodium Citrate (Control Acidity), Fumaric Acid (For Tartness), Red 40, Blue 1.

Here is something to remember. The ingredients that are listed in a package are always listed in the order that they contain the most of.....the most here would be sugar..then gelatin.

Definitely water. You need more than 2 cups water per pack of powder, so that's your main ingredient.

The main ingredient - once it's made - is probably water.
But I do know that it has animal hooves in it (Really!) - so if you are a vegetarian - you shouldn't eat it.
