The Hebrew calendar uses a system that alternates a 13 month year with a twelve month year to counter the drifting of the dates. This was symbolized by the 12/13 apostles of the last supper. and the designation of Judas as the betrayer for the sum of 30 pieces of sliver that indicates the change of the length of a month in days. The extra five days left are added into different months in the solar calendar with only one month left at 28 days and that is the month that gets the leap day. Nice try on the calender red herring.

No. As it is clearly stated that the moon is to be used to set the calendar so that they yearly cycle of holidays can be observed in their proper time.
To be more accurate, the OT calendarical system is both lunar and solar based. The proof to this is that the passover festival (festival of unleavened bread) is set for the 14th day of the first month, but it must always occur during the springtime. If one followed a strictly lunar calendar, like the muslim calendar, the months would retreat 11 days every solar year so that in just a few years the 'first month' would be in winter, then autumn, then summer, cycling thru every 36 years or so. To keep the months in their proper season, the biblically prescribed calendar intercalates a 29-day month every 2 to 3 years. The end result is that every 19 years, both the biblical calendar and the solar calendar count off the same number of days.

Allah is the name of the moon god, not YHVH. YHVH created the moon, He is God over the moon and all creation. We have always used articals of His creation in celebration of Him. Whether it be the moon, a lamb, offerings, a tree.... We direct our worship to the Creator of these things, not to the things themselves.
