You won't succeed if this is your attitude. Any change to your body takes LOTS OF EFFORT, you can't get around it. If it was easy, wouldn't everyone have a 6-pack?

Best way to lose weight from stomach is by doing CV, sit ups alone won't work. The developing stomach muscles will push out the excess fat.
Do some running/bike rides for 20 mins 3-5 times a week and then do some weights/stomach exercises will help.. won't happen overnight but will get there with the right effort

Get a Slendertone Tonning Belt. They are really good and i use mine while i make the dinner, watch TV etc.You can get them on www.qvc.co.uk or Boots or Argos. They use three A A A batteries and they last a good while ,but it's good if you use rechargeable batteries then you have no excuse not to use it .It has about seven programs you can use. And it does work believe me i felt next day i done the gym with out all that effort.I wouldn't swap mine for the world it does what it says it was worth the money i payed for it.If you are a larger lady you can also buy a extending belt bit to make it longer. Hope you get one and be as pleased as i am have lost a bit of weight but then i have medical problems too. You also can go to www.slendertone.co.uk. To buy the belt also and get accessories .Good Luck from Kiarakitty

What is it, are you afraid of exercise? Anything worthwhile requires you to make some effort. I don't think you are at all 'desperate', just wishing very very hard for a Fairy Personal Trainer to come along and wave a magic wand ... It doesn't happen that way, sweetheart. In order to achieve something, you have to put the work in. Fact of life, and not just when it comes to fitness.

You want to get results with minimal effort.
1. You can't "spot reduce" fat from a particular part of your body. That is a myth that is used to sell fitness equipment and supplements.
2. You want maximum results with minimal effort? That's never going to happen. Good luck trying.
3. Learn a lesson from this: Holidays and other events are ALWAYS going to happen. If you begin to live a healthier lifestyle (regular exercise, good nutrition, etc) then you'll always be ready for these events.

Best Advice I can offer is get the smallest girdle you can fit in! It isn't a permanent solution and you will be uncomfortable and unable to eat or drink anything but You'll look OK.
You can only tone muscles by using them and in the case of Stomach Muscles Exercises like sit-ups is the only way to do it!

It is going to take a while and hopefully his b-day is not this weekend. Get rid of the negative attitude. If you feel the need to do it, then obviously you need to do it. SO get your mind set right, get focused, and do it. Not only for his b-day, but forever and for yourself. good luck
