Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home. Isn't it odd that after one year, he didn't wanna even have coffee after the movie? On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. BUT, we only dated for one month, so why after one year, after HE dumped me, why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile? By the way, we never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. In fact, it never went past kissing. Is he just keeping me on the side, or does he see me as wifey material? So what does he REALLY want and should I be worried?

My Mom was a master of principled seduction. She could have any man with her beautiful Nordic looks, and yet she never broke her promise to herself to be married as a virgin. And broke the engagement.
Four years later she met my Dad and fell madly in love for almost 60 years! He passed away 3 and a half years ago.

Go for what and who you want. It's great to see a woman who can't be manipulated.
I can't say for sure why this ex is back. But I don't believe it's a good idea to go ----back (wards).
It was nice to have lunch and left things on good terms; but I would seriously move on.

If you are saving yourself for marriage you should be worried about the actions of any man your are having a relationship with. Even if they are willing to wait for marriage also, you should still be cautious, a womans virginity is a highly sought after prize. Sounds like he's just testing the water to see if it's the same situation or if circumstances have changed. Although it is POSSIBLE he just wants to be friends or he is reconsidering and looking at you as potential wife material. Just hold strong, keep your guard up and keep yourself for marriage. Most people aren't that strong or think that is just a fairy tale. It's people like you that actually have scruples against sexual immorality that help stop the spread of STD's.

It means he hasn't decided what he wants to do. I would say there are things he really likes about you and probably some things he is not sure about. If you are interested in getting back together, you should find out if he is seeing other women right now and what he thinks of them. If he won't give you a straight answer you should not waste your time with him.

even if you're not in relation anymore with an ex I find it very important to meet him after 1 year. just to tell to each other: if you need help you can find me there for you. If he didn't use you u can still be his friend.
advice: if you're virgin don't try to go out or marry a non-virgin guy.

It probably means you've been on his mind, and while he hasn't decided what exactly he wants to do about you, he knows that he wants to spend some more time with you to figure out if you're what he wants, but he doesn't want you to get the wrong idea. If you are interested in possibly getting back together, keep seeing him. If not, don't bother.

He's probably just lonely or bored. My advice is to stay away from this guy - he probably just wants to keep you around until someone better comes along, and guys like that aren't worth your time.
