My little girl has one of those dora tvs and it shows only a blue screen. When i hook her dvd player up to it shows only blue screen. I have no number to call, no instructions or anything. but, i do know her dvd player works because when i hooked that up to my t.v. it worked fine so i know its got to be the television. Any information would be helpful. Thanks so much.

It will not show what channel it is on either.

you might need to change the channel until you get to something that says "Line in " or to see if there is a button that says "Tv/Video" on your tv or else the tv's control.
Note: some tvs have the tv/video option in it's menu jujust look for it by going through all it's Menus

Make sure the cables are plugged in correctly. Turn on the DVD player and press the video botton a few times until you get a picture. You might be on the wrong video channel.
Update: In the back of the tv how many inputs are there to plug in cables? Are they yellow, red, & white? Are the DVD cables the same color? If you press the video button on the remote the channel should change from video 1, 2, or 3 depending on how many inputs you have and show it on the screen. Try pressing the video button on the actual tv and see what happens.
