One of you could become either emotionally or subconsciously attached to the other. Then when it's time for the unattached one to move on: The attached one could cause problems. Other than that: As long as both are consenting adults, and like what you are doing. Go for it.

I have had the luxury of friends with benefits several times. I've only had one friend with benefits relationship that has been just that. The others always end up with someone falling for the other and it just gets uncomfortable. Make sure that your motives and theirs are consistent.

Becoming attatched to the other person and wanting more when you won't get it. Feeling hurt and used instead of having fun.
BUT the consequences could also be having a fun casual time with someone who isn't a stranger.

You have to handle it carefully with lots of communication. If you don't keep the communication open, someone usually ends up getting hurt. Be very honest with your partner and yourself. Good luck and have fun!
