Why do we believe in the wind when we can't see it?
Those subconscious words that ring through our heads when we know we are doing something wrong - is that our conscious or perhaps is it someone (God) speaking to us?
While you call science "proving" that God doesn't exist, I have to go to work on your faulty logic and reasoning.
Science has NOT proved that the Earth was created by an explosion - that is their hypothesis. There is no way to prove it was an explosion, just as there is no way to prove God's existence.
How do people know that the light isn't the pathway to Heaven? Have doctors died, come back to life and then shared their story with people? Pure speculation.
Ghost sightings aren't real? Hmmm - well if you watched Ghost Hunters, you'd see some pretty amazing stuff that isn't exactly easy to explain away - EVP readings picked up by microphones, images from infrared cameras, tables lifting off the ground on camera - pretty compelling stuff.
I think your beliefs go into something more personal in your life and that makes me sad that you have nothing to believe in.
I'll pray for you, even though you won't believe....

The Bible and valid science line up completely. For example, the theory of Continental Drift corresponds exactly with the story of the tower of Babel in Genesis, during the days of Peleg. All the earth was of one language, and everybody lived in Shinar (modern-day Iraq). God confused the language, and those who could understand each other formed up into groups, separated, and then the super-continent of Pangaea broke apart, with Continental Drift continuing to this day which will happen until the super-continent is restored as the Bible teaches. The Bible also speaks clearly of the days of antiquity, and even goes so far as to say, "Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said? See this [is] new. It hath already been of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former [things]; neither shall there be [any] remembrance of [things] that are to come with [those] that shall come after." What this passage from Ecclesiastes tells us is that the earth is very, very old -- and further -- "generations (the word translated [generations] here is a reference to ages, much like the word [aeon] in the New Testament translated [world]) come and go, yet the earth abides forever."
And for you to say that science proves that humanity evolved from single-cell organisms is actually a religious (deist) statement of faith, which can neither be proven nor disproven. Very few people recognize Darwin's works for what they are -- religious manifestos written to support his deist faith; and because they are disguised falsely as so-called science, he has made many converts to and disciples of his religion.
And always remember my favorite Proverb: "Even a fool is counted wise as long as he remains silent; but his true nature is revealed when he opens his mouth." My second favorite is, "It is good not to strive since even a fool can start an argument."

The earth being Created is as unprovable as the earth as it is today because of evolution.
Science would have to have a very large lab to duplicate ether one, and it does not come close to having the technology.
Evolution says that man came millions of years after the dinosaurs, yet there are places around the world where there are human and dinosaur footprints in the same rock. The Bible talks about man living with dinosaurs (they were called dragons, Leviathan, Behemoth. The word dinosaur was first used in 1884).
There are many other things that say that evolution is not the answer and point to a young earth.
The seas are getting saltier (worked backward they would have been fresh only a few thousand years ago).
The helium content of the air has not stabilized yet (it should have in under 10,000 years).
Woolly Mammoths have been found with tropical food in their stomachs(how did a Mammoth get tropical food?) (if the Mammoths died in a -100 F winter their stomachs would have had time to digest the food, not only that it would have started to rot!) But the Bible says there was an ice water shield over our atmosphere, when this came down in the flood, it would have been about -300 F, and would have froze the Mammoths fast enough to freeze their stomachs).
And many other things.....

The problem is the big bang is still theory, an educated guess.
Point two evolution is still a theory, an educated guess.
Until we can prove either the existence of God or the theories of science there will still be a need for both.
In the meantime don't sweat either. Life is far too fouled up as it is to be saying who is right and who is wrong and fighting over such nonsense.
For all we know God is some scientist that generated a big bang and created the starter for evolution. No one knows for sure.

Your "assorted" statements are crammed with inaccuracies and incorrect interpretation of the holy scriptures. i won't handle all your inaccuracies, yet some. a million. The Genesis account of creation isn't affirming that the earth grew to become into created in 6 24-hour days. Genesis a million:a million refers back to the earth's creation. And it would not state a term. 2. something of Genesis financial disaster a million refers back to the educational of the earth for human habitation. "Day" refers to time classes. The seventh day is referred as no longer yet ended after hundreds of years. as quickly as lower back training no longer creation. 3. as a result, the verses after Genesis a million:a million in financial disaster one are speaking of issues, such easy being seen from earth's floor, the sunlight, moon, stars etc. have been already created. 4. Earth and heaven stated in Hebrews, and additionally 2Peter (which you probably did no longer point out) symbolically examine with earth as human beings (society) and heaven (ruling powers). No, the literal earth isn't destroyed. (however the prevailing governments (Daniel 2:40 4) and society of folk (Genesis eleven:a million) gets replaced via a righteous government ruling over a righteous society of folk. between human beings such as you and the fake non secular coaching, the bible and it is author, Jehovah God are being defamed. it is why as Jehovah's Witnesses, we champion the certainty of God's be conscious and help the sanctification of God's call and the vindication of his sovereignty. Jehovah God will vindicate his call and sovereignty (rightful possession and rulership of the earth) earlier ALL onlookers.

religion acknowledges one thing science arrogantly denies. That being that there are things in this universe that are beyond our ability to understand. Therefore science will contrive an answer even if it is ludicrous and pass it off as fact. Look at your bible, in one page God explains where you came from and then devotes the balance to how to live respectfully and tell us where the universe is heading. Where we've been is not as important as where we are going.
As for those with death experiences, remember, Lazarus, 3 days in the grave then returned, should he not have been angry for having been pulled from heaven? I conclude it doesn't quite work the way many think it does.

I can't speak for all Christians, just myself. But the reason I believe the Bible is because God is giving me the faith to do so since I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior.
Besides, as I'm sure you know, science changes and evolves as man becomes more educated and knowledgeable. The Bible never changes. How do you know when it's all said and done that science won't bear out the Bible after all?
Reading between your lines, I get the feeling that you would really like for this to be true. Follow that call. It's the still, small voice of your Creator.

I can tell from your questions that you have not done much research on this topic, you are merely believing what you have heard. Actually, there is a wealth of scientific evidence that has proven the Bible true and historically accurate. I encourage you to take more time to find answers before you judge so quickly. By the way... evolution is only a theory. Even Darwin himself found holes in the theory as he continued his observations after publishing his initial findings. Evolution has never been accepted as fact.

I still believe in a Creator, not religion -I hate religion it's the worst thing that has ever been invented by man-But deep inside I feel that there is an essence of a creator and that's all I need -I do know science is what our world is based on and so I know science to be a great tool in helping us understand ourselves and our universe...But to each their own..You're gonna probably receive alot of christian hate sayings here in a bit..

Science has proven nothing of the sort
Your evolution is A THEORY and every self respecting scientist admits to that. Although they do beleive in it
you know......like the Christians believe in Creation........same thing......both Chrisitans and scientists have faith in their beliefs
And..ummm..how did the fact that people see light when they "almost" die get proven that our brain sees this because of no oxygen?.....reaching aren't we?..........sounds like a good theory though...much like the theory that they "see" the way home to Heaven maybe, who knows?
For your sake, I do hope you are right and when you die, that's it....cause if'n you are wrong, your afterlife might not be so hot. On the other hand, it could be PLENTY hot if you're wrong.
