I have dreamed of having a Westie puppy for years but we cannot afford the cost involved to "PURCHASE" a puppy of our own we can offer a loving home full of attention and care we have three children who love puppies. Our oldest daughter has a malti poo that we all treat like a child. If you know anyone that needs a home for thier puppy and not interested in financial game but purely a home then we are the folks for you.

Westies are great. I grew up with one, she was my first dog. Try Petfinder.com, local shelters or look online for rescue groups. My Westie was found in the classifieds by my mother when I was 8...she was just 9 months old and the family that owned couldn't care for her anymore (new baby in the house I think....). She was free to a good home. She lived to be 16 and I miss her dearly.
However...
Please do not get a dog if you can't afford it. A loving home is great, but not enough. The purchase price of a dog is just the tip of the iceberg. It will need vaccines, health care, quality food, toys, health care, grooming....did I say health care? Pets are expensive, very expensive if taken care of properly. One serious illness can set you back several thousand dollars. If you are able to afford the cost of taking care of a Westie, I wish you all the best in your search. Again, they are great little dogs. If not, please wait until you can financially care for more than one dog.

Go to the shelter to andsee if there is any West Highland Terriers...
You might not want to go since going to the shelter is so sad but, you'll save a dogs life

I would keep trying. Alot of people give puppy as Holiday gifts. Your dog could be put in a shelter. Also contect your local shelter, let them know what you are look for, and they may contact you. I know someone that happen to.

try a shelter for 3 reasons: you will save a dogs life, the cost is usually only 80dollars, and you will save lives!!!
