I've already looked into (and found) a great supercharger for the car, now I want to install a nitrous kit. Any suggestions out there?

Of course it's possible. YOu can put nitrous on virtually any vehicle in existance. Even a lawnmower.
Is it a good idea? Well that depends. The 'general' rule is that about 10HP per cyl is a safe level of boost. so a roughly 80-100 HP nitrous shot should be safe for your car. I say should because there are many other variables. The biggest is your fuel delivery system. You need to make sure that the factory fuel system is capable of delivering enough fuel. This is mainly a concern in the "dry kits". Dry kits are the cheapest and easiest kits to install. Usualy around 500 bucks. they pump the nitrous oxide directly into the air intake leaving the fuel delivery up to the cars computer. Wet kits are safer but much more expensive. I believe wet kits port nitrous and extra fuel directly into the intake manifold.

If you are installing nitrous IN ADDITION to a supercharger, then you will definately need to take extra precautions. your motor would most likley need internal modifications to handle the added pressure. This might include things like fogred steel connecting rods and crank shafts. You would also need to upgrade you fuel and ignition system as well as look into an aftermarket computer that will be able to work within these ranges. You would be looking at thousands of dollars in engine work.

You can do one or the other; either nitrous or supercharger, but not both on a street car. The engine will probably take either power-adder with no appreciable adverse effects.
Nitrous is quick to install, cheaper, but you have to refill the bottle periodically. If your goal is more usable street power, the supercharger is the way to go. If you want to take the car to the drag strip occasionally, go with a 100-shot of nitrous.

The link below lists where there's a nitrous system available for your car.

Sure it would be possible to add a NOS system. I would just stick with the Supercharger and add on the superchips programer. That should be plenty of HP for the 6.1 Hemi!

he shouldn't mess with a superchip programmer if he has a supercharger. he will need a custom flash on his PCM. they can fine tune his car more than that generic programmer. KRC does custom flashes for many vehicles but don't think they have a 06 one yet. but give them a call.

It's a poor idea to run nitro in a engine that was not designed for it.
It will saverely shorten the life of your engine and could potentially just blow.

Sure it is possible, but I suggest that you drive safely and follow the posted speed limits. Why do you want to drive fast and endanger everyone else? I bet you play rap music really loud while you are driving, too.

Go ahead and put it on. There goes your warranty. No dealer will warranty the truck if you put it on. If you blow the motor you're up the creek.
