In most cases yes, it would be wrong as the therapist would be taking advantage of you. However, I am believing the poor guy had no idea what he was in for when you walked through the door. I bet he is curled up in the fetal position babbling incoherently with a big a$$ grin on his face.

is it wrong is a judgement call... the therapist knows that he is in a position to take advantage of the situation and it is his role to not mis-use his position.
Many times the patient does not feel she is a victim.
no victin, no crime....the husband becomes the victim.
so to him, it is wrong... the the kids in the family, if any, it is wrong...
the therapist should be helping with keeping all that together..not taking advantage of her.

Same as sleeping with your bar tender. Personally I don't find anything wrong with it. I am a married promiscuous person and do not see fault in the female being one as well. Have fun, go w/the flow, what ever blows your skirt up is cool.

yeah morally and legally its wrong, but as exciting as hell!

He could lose his license because of it. I don't know the extent of your relationship in your marriage now, or if you are not seeing your therapist "professionally" now, and your sexual relationship started after your marriage ended and after you stopped seeing him. If so its still a little shaky. he took advantage of your vulnerabilities. However if its just naughty, mean nothing, nasty sex, well keep doing it just stop paying for the visits, i think you have paid for them in full.

LOL

1. It is wrong to break your marriage vows.
2. It is unethical for a therapist to sleep with her or his patients. He or she can lose their license to practice.

Surely you must know all of this, so why are you asking?

I don't think so, as long as it is part of your therapy.

In fact, I'm also a therapist myself. I'm sure I could help you out.

Well put it this way. If he is having sex with you, why shouldn't he have sex with your spouse. Figure it out. Would you be pissed to find out he is loving you and your husband? If you would be pissed off, their is your answer.

Yes, because it is against his oath he took as a doctor. you went to him for help and not sex.
