...what's the point in creating the rest of the universe? We apparently have everything we need here on earth. I know a few may be thinking, "to give us a place to explore" but if we never had it we would never miss it. Some other's may be thinking, " he created the universe to stabilize planets." If he is so powerful why does he need anything for any sort of stabilizer?

We (human beings) are limited creatures with limited intelligence we cannot grapple all the reasons why God(who is an unlimited power) created things like the universe. But if u used ure imagination a bit more u can still find reasons to it.Maybe in the future when Earth will be too populated we'll start finding ways to live out there.Or maybe God created other creatures in another Universe, that may use this Space.

Back when the bible was written, they didn't know about the universe, they thought the sky was a cover over the earth and the stars were just like tiny holes in the roof.

Another example of Science shining bright light into the dark corners where religion hides.

Obviously none. In addition to YOUR argument, the 'place to explore' argument isn't viable because, even if we learned how to travel at the speed of light, the nearest galaxy outside our own would take 2.2 million years to reach and the farthest 5000 times that. Also, the billions of galaxies outside our own and the billions of stars within our galaxy, except for the sun, have no stabilizing effect on our planet whatsoever. To any educated open minded person there is no evidence for or even theoretical room for the supernatural.

I once met a wiseman, at least others told me he was so, I found him to be quite a fool, but, at least he had enough wisdom, to not let the others know.
If one can find the answer in Yahoo then Yahoo is God and for some strange reason I believe I would be damned if I believed any answer "IT" told me!

Exactly. Why make billions of stars and planets that we will never visit? If we're the only ones in the entire universe, what a waste of space.

Oh I know, god's imaginary, that's why!

That's the thing about God. Only HE knows the reason He created what he created. Although we may not understand it right here-right now, it's not FOR us to understand until He is ready for us to understand it.
