Ok, french toast. You get like four slices of bread (wheat or white) 3 eggs, Cinnamon, and some sugar.

Beat the 3 egg's add in like 1/8 to a 1/4 tsp of the cinnamon and sugar. Combine all. Coat bread on both sides. Then spray what ever pan your using with none stick cooking spray. Cook both sides of the bread till both side are golden brown. Serve with what ever you want whip cream, syrup, etc.

Pretty simple and I've been making it for years.

Easy stuff and delicious!!

Eggs (2 eggs will yield about 8 slices)
1/2 cup of milk
Cinnamon Sugar
Pure Vanilla extract
Nutmeg

Beat eggs with milk, add cinnamon (liberally), Vanilla (use just a bit, pure extract is strong) and Nutmeg (just a few dashes.)

Dip the bread in the mixture making sure both sides are covered. Place on a non-stick pan or greased skillet, cook for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until you can easily get a spatula underneath the toast.

Finish with powdered sugar and/or your favorite syrup!

YUM!

French toast is made with bread (generally pre-sliced) and eggs; some common additions are milk, water, or orange juice to thin the eggs, sugar, and spices such as allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Vanilla may also be added to the egg mixture.

The eggs are beaten (and mixed with other liquids, as described above) and poured into a wide, shallow bowl. Individual slices of bread are then dipped into the egg mixture and flipped, so both sides are evenly coated. If desired, the bread may be left to soak briefly to absorb more of the mixture; however, too much soaking will make the bread fall apart, which is why some cooks prefer to use bread that is closer to the end of its shelf-life. The slices of egg-coated bread are then placed on a frying pan or griddle prepared with a coat of butter, and cooked until both sides are browned and the egg has cooked through.

The cooked slices are usually served with jam or butter and maple syrup, though it can also be served with fruit syrup, apple sauce, whipped cream, chocolate, powdered sugar, or nuts such as pecans.

French Toast

1 cup half-and-half
3 large eggs
2 tablespoons honey, warmed in microwave for 20 seconds
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 (1/2-inch) slices day-old or stale country loaf, brioche or challah bread
4 tablespoons butter

In medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, eggs, honey, and salt. You may do this the night before. When ready to cook, pour custard mixture into a pie pan and set aside.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Dip bread into mixture, allow to soak for 30 seconds on each side, and then remove to a cooling rack that is sitting in a sheet pan, and allow to sit for 1 to 2 minutes.

Over medium-low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a 10-inch nonstick saute pan. Place 2 slices of bread at a time into the pan and cook until golden brown, approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and place on rack in oven for 5 minutes. Repeat with all 8 slices. Serve immediately with maple syrup, whipped cream or fruit.
