For those days when you're pressed for time and you've brushed your teeth and can only do one followup, either to floss or to use mouthwash, which of these would teeth benefit most from?

flossing is better i know cause i have a 7 year old that has very bad teeth and i have to deal with dentist alot he has had to put to sleep and have 13
teeth fix at once and then they all started going bad again his fillings were falling out and part of his tooth broke off two days agoand he has to have a cap put on and they said that flossing is a must it keeps food from laying in there and causing it to make your teeth go bad his did and it got down in his gums and went in side his tooth and roted in side out thats why his tooth broke and pluse floss is small and can be carred any where

Right with ya buddy! I need 8 fillings, 2 teeth extractions, removal of an impacted tooth and 7 root canals! My teeth are crooked and banana peel yellow! I'm only 14 though :( so it's embarrassing at school! I went through an abscess and after that horrid pain I vowed to never miss a day of brushing again! (I used to go weeks without brushing!!) Now I brush 2 times a day, mouthwash once and floss after I eat after every meal! Unforunitly many of your teeth are most likely going to need rootcanals, especially if a lot of the tooth is decayed! I didn't think I'd need any root canals either, then I went to the dentist and they said I needed 7! I was like damnnnn I screwed up! My first root canal is on Thursday! Root canals are 800$ a tooth! Luckily my insurance pays for it! Or I'd really be screwed! So for your teeth I'd day around 20,000$. The reason their so expensive is because of the Madatory crown (veneer) put on after a root canal! If you've had a cavity for more than 6 months you most likely need a root canal on it. If you ignore then you will have an abscess (I rather break my leg than go thru that again honestly!) then your tooth will fallout! Luckily veneers put on after a root canal make your teeth white and straight and beautiful! I'm looking forward to that!

Your teeth would benifit from floss the best, however it is also true that if you can only do one thing for your dental hygine you should floss because a lot more gets stuck between your teeth more than on it.

Flossing! Breaks up plaque with can lead to gum disease. The human mouth is filthy. Mouthwash makes it smell better.

Flossing dislodges food stuck between your teeth which leads to bad brath and cavities. Mouthwash only conceals the problem.

Flossing is much more beneficial. You can always buy the travel mouthwash and carry it with you♥

Flossing is more important to remove the trapped bacteria and food between the teeth. If your gums recede a lot it risks tooth loss, so it's important to keep your gums healthy
