I bought scarface for the PS2 but cant get out the tunnel under the house.?

Can anyone give me a cheat for this. If not is it worth the time and effort to persevere. Does it get any better? And can I change so I'm not controlling with the toggle sticks? This is really annoying me.

Why are you burying your PS2 games in tunnels under your hoUse when you can't get them back out again!?!?
