Early prostate cancer usually does not cause any symptoms. But as the tumor grows it may spread from the prostate to surrounding areas causing a variety of symptoms. As a result of metastasis to the spine, for example, many men experience pain in the lower back, pelvis, or upper thighs. (To get a clearer picture of prostate cancer and its stages, see Grading and Staging: What the numbers mean.)
Symptoms of more advanced cases of prostate cancer may also include:
Interruption of urinary flow (stopping and starting)
Inability to urinate
Difficulty starting or stopping urination
Frequent urination (especially at night)
Blood in the urine
Pain or burning during urination
Stopping testicular production of testosterone with an LH-RH agonist such as Lupron Depot may help relieve many of these advanced prostate cancer symptoms. Individual results may vary.

I could only find information on urination, but maybe if you go to this site which has other links to it, you will be able to ask around

Yep. Prostatitis can cause feelings of:
* Frequent urge to urinate
* Difficulty urinating
* Pain or burning during urination
* Chills and fever
Check with your doctor or a urologist. You can also try warm baths, but an antibiotic will help.
Good luck!

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland, a common condition in adult males. Often caused by infection, prostatitis may develop rapidly (acute) or slowly (chronic). It can cause pain but shouldn;t make you feel like you need to go #2 all the time.

Yes, it might, but I'd be more worried about a rectal obstruction like a tumor (yeah, cancer - I know that is scary). Get checked out NOW!

Sure it is filling up your entire pelvis if it is enlarged enough. That puts pressure on your large intestine and gives you that "have-to-go" feeling.

yes, it could. There could be pressure against your colon and make you feel as if you need to go #2 as soon as possible.
