Don't know if this will help but I found my family after 43 years just last Feb. I started with a birth place and then e-mailed a clerk of courts who put me in touch with a librarian who actually knew my family. Theres a few other tricks you can try if you want to e-mail me I'll do what I can for ya.It's complicated and can be a long process you must have a lot of patience to get into this.

DO you have any information regarding where they live.
If so call the courthouse in that county and do a records search.
If they own property you might be able to locate them that way.
If you have any of your family's social security numbers, you can write a letter to the social security office and the social security office can forward that information to them. The ss office will NOT give your information to them so be sure to put YOUR contact information within the request.
GOOD LUCK!

It all depends on why you're not seeing him now. Does someone else have custody? Did you give him up for adoption? (If that's the case it will be practically impossible) Was he kidnapped? Need more info on the circumstances. If he was older, he would be in simple $10 databases, but it might be trickier since he is so young.
