You're not crazy...just being prepared.
Just like anything else, it all depends on you and your individual situation. These are the questions you need to ask...
Can you handle the worst-case scenario without having a meltdown?...(example-the 4yr old needs assistance with the potty, the 2yr old is having a temper tantrum, the 9 month old wants to be held because they're tired, and your four month old needs to be fed)
Do you have enough room in your house for all four to nap at the same time? (providing God is willing to bless you with a break ;)) And is there something to keep the non-sleeping children occupied and quiet enough so the others can nap relatively peacefully? Granted, you don't want complete silence, but I'm referring to no outrageous crying or screaming.
Do you have enough high chairs/booster seats to make them all comfortable enough to get through a meal, provided the little ones' schedules allow it?
When she has the fifth child, will you continue to care for all six children? The same questions apply, added to the needs of a newborn.
Do you have someone available (husband, etc) that's willing to step in to help if needed?
Does she have a backup sitter for unexpected events, such as illness (in either family) or other appointments?
Is just having the scheduled days off going to be enough of a break for you to recover and spend time with your own family?
I'm not saying whether you should or should not sit for your friend. That is entirely up to you. You just need to be fully prepared and ready for any situation.
Personally, I'm a SAHM with an eleven year old and a three year old of my own, and babysit a one year old during second shift. We live in a two bedroom apartment, so space is limited. Because of frequent doctor appointments for my emotionally disabled son, she has dependable backup sitters, and I also get one night off per week to spend with my husband and my children. It has worked well for the last four months, and I know this is my personal limit. I hope you find the situation that works for you. Good luck and God Bless...

Yes. I use to babysit for neighbors, but the children were older. That's a lot of work. Also babysitting for your best friend might cause problems. If it was just temporary it might be OK, otherwise I would not do it.

I honestly think the first theory is more accurate. He wanted to be able to relive Lily's gaze through Harry's eyes. If you think about it, Snape never really did like Harry, but he respected him and kept him safe out of the love that he felt for the boy's mother. If it were not for the fact that Harry was in fact Lily's flesh and blood, I really don't think that he'd put so much effort into all that he did for Harry. Plus, the memory he gave to Harry before he died was full of the stories about how much he adored Lily. And one of the memories was right after Lily died. Snape was devastated that Lily died, but Dumbledore said that if he really loved Lily that he would be willing to be kind to Harry even though it was the child of a man he despised throughout his school years. (James) Ha, I'm kind of ranting here, so I hope you got what I meant but yeah. That's what I think. :)

If you are feeling overwhelmed, then yes you are crazy. I personally, could never babysit. I love kids, but babysitting is a very hard job. If you enjoy it, go for it.

Nope. I don't think your crazy. As long as you can handle it, then I don't see a problem. Your friend can obviously take care of all her children at once, so you should be able to do the same.

Yes, you are crazy. I don't know how anyone could handle that many when they are that young.
Actually, your crazy, but she is even crazier! 4 kids with one on the way? Holy crap, she must be so tired!

Good for you! I would suggest that you tell your friend that this is a trial basis, and then try it out for a month or so. Good luck!

Crazy? How about SMART. Good for you, and as a mother, you know your limits. If you can handle it, then do so.
