yea a black person can get lice it isnt common i dont know they are human beings to. i heard some of them wash their hair every two weeks maybe its the hair grease they use that help their hair not to get dirty fast and moisture their hair alot of my friends are black but they never complain about hair lice only 1 black person told me their little sisters had hair lice

We do get lice yet I heard lice would not like the oils we use in our hair. that possibly reduces the numbers. And our hair strands are triangular while dissected -no longer oval as one answerer suggested.

its because Caucasian hair is easier for lice to move around in and black hair isnt meant to be washed everyday or else it will become unhealthy and break so since it is not washed as much and hair products are put in it... it is really hard for lice to move around in

They have less of a chance to get lice because the shape of the hair shaft, it is oval not round. it is hard for the bug to attach thier eggs.
