That's exactly the problem. The Xian (Or Muslim) Fundies have given you a bad name. Since they are the loudest and most vocal group of Xians, it's easy to stereotype that all Xians are that way. i believe the same thing happens to Atheists. We get judged by the trolls who spout anti Xian comments and insults. Nevermind the fact that many of them aren't even really Atheists, but bored teenagers goofing off and trying to start trouble.

Well when we read thousands of inane questions from believers. Such as the one just submitted asking how to tell if a baby born on June 6th 2006 is the anti-christ, its easy to see how one could get that opinion after a while. But yes one needs to keep things in perspective, that the most moronic ones make the most noise.

Knowing what we do, it is our duty as Christians to resist the evils of this world. Knowing that, that the forces that try to pervert us work unceasingly to do exactly that. "the mystery of iniquity doth work..." 2Thessalonians 2:7
Knowing what we know, and loving the truth and righteousness, we must bear these things, knowing that our works mean something. After all, there are worst things than having a bad name. It is important to be true to yourself, don't worry what others may think. It is important only that YOU do. God bless.

Good question, especially considering that many of the greatest minds the world has known were firm believers in God. Maybe these intellectual wannabes should read a little Aquinas or Augustine.

People have a hard time doing anything with out hardcore proof. Everyone wants a formula for this decision and that one. So they can prove they were right in making their decisions.
It isn't so cut and dry.

Many people think that people who abandon common sense, refuse to look at objective evidence and spout fiction as though it were fact are shutting down their brains and allowing themselves to be manipulated and brainwashed by an organization who cares nothing about them personally, but is only after their wallets and their votes.

It's only those here with an IQ of 50 or less that believe that.
I mean anyone that believes the Universe is a Cosmic Casino that Throws Dice and Makes Worlds and People can't have a lot of brains.
