The single best thing I can suggest for good healthy skin is olive oil as a moisturizer. It might sound crazy but nothing beats it. Not only will it make your skin soft and gorgeous in no time (if used right out of the shower every time) but the essential fatty acids soothe and strengthen other body systems too (like your adrenal glands - just below the ribs in the back - and your hormone system). I have seen it turn a cranky kid into an angel within minutes of application.

Olive oil will make both your nerves and your skin less sensitive. Talk about the holistic approach!

do you mean sensitive skin?

if so, you cant avoid that- that is the skin you have, but
you can be very careful about the products you use,
drink lots of water and take a multi-vitamin, plus
use sun protection outside

witch hazel is a great astringent to use at night, and a mild
cleanser-dont use soap! h20 skincare is awesomeness
