Yes, it is a fracture. T7 and T8; Middle back. The neurosurgeon that I was seeing, has released me PRN. The chiro does not "treat" the fracture. He treats the rest of my alignment issues. And as far as treatment goes...chronic means that treatment is not used for healing, just for pain relief, because fixing the problem is not going to happen.

And therapy is a part of the treatment under my chiropractor's care.

Ok, first know that insurance claims people (at least most of the ones who answer here) are very straightforward and don't mince words. I read the entire portion of your question and I have to tell you that most insurance companies do not take chiropractic very seriously. In fact, 18 months of treatment with a chiro will not be considered in its entirety. There are a lot of reasons, but if your injury is that severe, you should be under the care of an orthopedist and having therapy. Are you sure it's a fracture, or are you talking a disc injury? A fracture is usually not something a chiro treats. one thing you didn't say was where this happened.

If you have an attorney that's what you pay him for, to know what your case is worth. Just do not expect the insurance company to consider all of that treatment. That's excessive even if you had a fracture. Most chiros will tell you you need to treat indefinitely, but in reality, if you continue to treat, it may actually make it more difficult for you to recover. I'm not a doctor, and all cases are different, but I've spent years evaluating injury claims, and I'm not so sure about this one.

if your neck pain never go's away you can clean up very well. go back to the doc and tell him about the whip lash you now have.
hell look it up on the net to learn about it. if i was you i would go for around 50 grand. never sing off always keep the option open for them to cover your med bill
