Does anyone else have this problem? It's done this so many times I've returned the game console and got a new one and now the new one does it too. Some of the games have only gotten played 1-4 times. Now it's a hassle to make sure i save my receipt to return the games for new ones. I know it's not from me handling the disks because once they're in i usually don't take them out. HELP!

I remember when the 360 first came out there was a big notice about if you lay your 360 down (horizontal) it can cause a "groove" to form in the disc. Xbox recommends standing your 360 up (vertically). But I think I heard that they would replace any discs that get ruined from having it laying down because you are supposed to be able to. Call Xbox support to find out for sure.

From the sounds of it your not having much luck with it.
Take your Xbox 360 back to the store and tell them that it continues to do this. There could be something defective with it? That's what I would do because there is nothing worse then using a product that doesn't do as it ought work.

If you have tried every thing and it does this again then I would seriously consider giving up if it happens a third time providing you have read the manual and followed all the instructions before using it.

It's not your fault if the product is truly defective. If it were me I would give after the second time because I don't like defective electronics. There is nothing worse then having it happen a second time.

Also this is a product that fixes scratches that you may want to try if over time you have cd's that get scratched.

Make sure you dont move your xbox when it is moving and put it on a level surface. You might need to call the company and ask them why it is happening. Also on the disk tray there are two little tabs, make sure the cd goes under those.

It might be possible dust and dirt it getting into the system, so then when the disc spins it get all scratched up.

Than again, the Xbox IS a Microsoft product lol.

Never move your console from vertical to horizontal or vise versa while the game is spinning. Its in your 360 paperwork.
