photosynthesis is a phenomenon that occurs in the plants which are autotrophs and they have a pigment called chlorophyll which plays an imp role in photosynthesis. the purpose of photosynthesis is undoubtedly for preparation of food materials by the plant. they utilise the carbondioxide, sunlight and water to produce food with the help of chlorophyll. is that clear?
