if god is all powerfull and all knowing, then he could have put the bones of those things in the earth to test us.
Or maybe evolution is real.
It's best to be agnostic, and just wait and see.

well, you might not like my view but here it is. The bible was written and translated by man. Men are not perfect and the trials of translating things is not perfect. I believe that our species, sorry for the term, had to grow from infancy into what it has become. We had to follow certain steps to insure that we were guided and so we would learn and not end up killing ourselves off early. As far as the dinosaurs, well the bible says that god created animals this may have been an early trial. It does serve a purpose even now if you think about it. That is where we get oil is from long dead decomposed dino's. So God was smart enough (he should be after all) to see to our needs in the early stages of man and today. If you think about how much stuff there is out there that came to be by "chance" you might start to realize that the devine just might have had a hand in it.

No one can confirm much of anything about a Cro Magnon. You can't run DNA tests on a fossil.
Why is it the Museum of Natural History in New York had a common animal bone hooked into their dinosaur display and no one caught it for years.
I have yet to get this answered. Do apes have an Appendix. Humans do, and it's not used for anything did it evolutionize IN or is it going OUT, will it serve some future purpose or is it just around to make General Surgeons $10,000 when it ruptures.

"The flesh and hair on these "cavemen" reconstructions have to be filled in by resorting to the imagination....skin color; the color, form, and distribution of the hair; the form of the features: and the aspect of the face - of these characters we know absolutely nothing for any prehistoric men"
"The vast majority of artists' conceptions are basd more on imagination than on evidence....Artists must create something between an ape and a human being; the older the specimen is said to be, the more apelike they make it."
"Just as we are slowly learning that primitive men are not necessarily savages, so we must learn to realize that the early men of the Ice Age were neither brute beasts nor semi-apes nor cretins. Hence the ineffable stupidity of all attempts to reconstruct Neanderthal or even Peking man."

The answer is in their actions (shunning cause they don't have an answer). To admit that GOD made a mistake with early man or the dinosaurs. That can never be for GOD never makes mistakes.
If you find one, how many more are there?
Better they deny the existance of these bones and evidence(yes those fossils have been claimed to be strange rock formations by religion) than to admit that GOD does make make mistakes.

The Dakota man (as an example) was created from 1 tooth (and his wife also). Latter it was found to be a pigs tooth.
Lucy did not have any hands or feet (that they found) so they put on almost human hands and feet to make her look more human (plus they changed the angle of some leg bones to stand more upright)(plus her head was found about 100 feet from the body, several dirt layers deeper then the body making her head thounsands of years older than her body!).
I think it is the neanderthals, that they leave the jaw bone out of socket about 1 inch to make its face look more primative (slopping face).

The book was written before we knew much about the world around us. Most religion was invented to fill in the gaps in our knowledge regarding our environment. That's why the gods of different lands had different powers depending on the geography and weather of the area. Thor the mighty Scandinavian thunder god would not be something we'd find in ancient Egypt where Ra the sun god ruled.
So, we know about dinosaurs and cave men. Time to re-tool our religion to fit the facts.

A different skull shape or bone formation doesnt mean that man was anything other than human. I have seen people, alive today with irregular skull formations. Many bone structures even differ from region to region. There is no reason to believe that skull fragments of the so called "Neanderthal" was anything less than a human or more than an ape.

The remnants painted by unsaved men is a gag to make you believe that God is a liar and that man evolved from apelike ancestors and looking far enough back in time........evolved from nothing. Remember nothing became something and became everything................or.......God created everything with an infinite mind in complex order. Did you know that if you took out all your DNA you could fit it in a teaspoon. But if you linked it end to end you could stretch your DNA from the earth to the moon 25 times! Do you really think this just randomly happened? I mean really really think about this. If there is a building there is a builder. If there is a painting there is a painter. If there is a creation there is a creator.........GOD.

I happen to believe that the creation account is metaphorical.
A lot of people, for some reason, refuse to believe that anything that is not in the Bible could have happened.
