A shotgun effect hoping to get the right answer? Using blind faith to find the truth is like pointing at the target (truth) then turning around 180 degrees.

I don't know, considering how many non-believers say Monkey (it was Ape and it's old hat, like Pluto being a planet is old hat), how few of them knew the Big Bang theory came from a Catholic Priest and the Father of Genetics is a Catholic Abbott, I would tend to say it seems like the non-believers need to open a book or two and maybe take a continuing education class in College.

No. Faith can be blind but it does not have to be. Some religious people understand some things that you don't and consider you blind to the truth.

True, believers don't fully understand everything but if they continue in their "blind faith" and pray for wisdom and understanding they will come to know the whole truth.

Worse than that they deliberately avoid even seeking out the truth. If there is a God he must shake his head in disbelief at the religionists and their mindless adherence to dogma and be thankful that atheists at least are willing to explore the complexities of the universe.

It would apply to me. I was raised catholic. Because of those CCD classes, I had some knowledge of the myths and legends (I hesitate to say I had the facts, if you know what I mean).

But I didn't examine anything - I just accepted what I was told.
