If you have a whole chicken and a brownie pan that will be all the pan you will ever need to cook a chicken this way:

Fill the pan about 1/4" high with salt. Coarse salt is best, but I've done it with regular salt.

Stand the chicken on end, butt-end against the salt. Spread the thighs so that it stands on its own. There should be three places where the bird touches the salt. The butt end and the two drumstick ends.

Bake at 350 for 2 1/2 hours. Done

Follow the instructions on the instant rice box. Serve together. End

Cook the pasta, boiling water for ten minutes then add the pasta to the saucapan for about 4 minutes I guess, check the packet, then while thats cooking, chop up the chicken and fry that in a wok, or frying pan. Or just have chicken and rise??
I used to make five minute stir frys, cook the chicken, add the noodles, and add the packed stir fry and put some sauce over it and its a quick and feeling fast meal, not unhealthy either.

If you have a jar of pasta sauce, brown the chicken in a skillet then add the sauce and simmer on low until done (about an hour) then serve over cooked pasta. If you don't have sauce, but have a can of tomatoes or tomato sauce you can do the same thing, adding garlic, salt, pepper, oregano and basil from the spice cabinet to flavor the tomato part.

If you can't do it in your oven, can you do it on your stove top? If you can then throw it in a pan, add the seasonings and cook on medium heat. You can also do your rice on the stove top, boil some water, add the rice, cover and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Or you could do it all in the microwave. Cook the chicken first then the rice or pasta.
If you have salad dressing in your fridge, you could marinate it in ranch or italian, just about any salad dreassing for about an hour (flipping it every 20 minutes). Then cook it.

Put the chicken in a pan with some water and add some seasoning. I find that Seasoning salt or lemon pepper is the best. Serve it over the rice with a tad bit of butter. Yum....

You can make chicken soup or chicken and rice. Clean your chicken, put it in a pot and cover it with water or broth, add salt, pepper, onion powder, celery powder (or whatever you have) and simmer that for a couple of hours. Cook the rice or pasta in a separate pot and then add to the chicken pot when the chicken starts to fall off the bone. If you have a carrot or celery, add those to the chicken. If you have oil, cut the chicken up, sprinkle it with season-all and fry it (messy).

Take a bullion cube, no wait, take about 3 of them and put them in with the rice. Dress the chicken, get rid of all the feathers, remove the head and feet, put aside. Cook the rice first and chicken later add some truffles and shallots. Viola!!!
