I live in Texas I know there arent any here, but are there any close?

Got to the redwood forest in california, its a national park so you would be able to ask anyone.

California, both in the sierras, and along the Big Sur on the coastline. Don't think there any closer than that.

There is a wonderful forest just north of San Francisco, Muir woods. That's where I saw them and they were beautiful.
