No because they spread very easily. If you have lice you can go to your local drug store and get lice shampoo. They are a pain to get rid of, make sure that you also get stuff to kill them off of all of your clothes, bed sheets, car seat, hair stuff and anything you can think of. And make sure you check the rest of your family, and it would be best to tell any friends that have been over recently. It may be embarrassing, but best know then before they spread the lice to others!!

The reason I found this page: I was in a supercuts today. I was next in line waiting while two kids were getting their head shaved. They finished up, and I overheard the stylist tell their mom "their hair is short now, but use the shampoo for at least 2 weeks. Make sure there s no eggs or anything." The mom commented she couldn t figure out where they d gotten it and that she "couldn t see anything crawling around in their hair." To which the stylist said "I could." I got right the hell up and left.

Best get rid of that lice quickly. I hope you know that somebody close to you will lose it if it speads to them. Take care of it before you get thrown out any reputable hair salon. Then find a regular hair stylist for the consistent quality you should expect.

It's against any State Law for a professional hairdresser to preform service on a client with Lice. If they find it while cutting your hair, they are required to stop immediately and inform the client what is going on and send them on thier way.

no. the reason that they make you sit on the chair first and ask you what you want done while sectioning your hair is so they could check for lice. if they see any signs of lice infestation, they will not cut your hair. this applies to ALL hair salons.

I would hope not. You have to treat yourself and get rid of it before anyone will touch your hair.
