Why do people look for sex partners over the internet? Aren't they afraid of getting STDs (and worse, AIDS)? Are they really so sexually desperate? Maybe the have sex addictions?

noooo... I'm talking about men who specifically write to me to ask me to meet them for sex. I'm serious. I can't believe people do this!

Most are already in a relationship that is unsatisfying at home. It's the thrill of it all. My sister got into BDSM over the net and got hurt by a guy (master) that was a DR.. Dangerous stuff.

Many look for lust/love over the internet as they cannot "find" the right person in areas that they live in. In the old days, you usually married someone who lived within walking distance of your house. Today, long distance relationships are much more common and rather than settling for the grocery clerk next door, people try and find their best match (or in guys minds, the hottest girl who will sleep with them) Truth be told, most of the people looking for lust/love over the internet are too stupid to realize that people might be more than just what their blog says. They don't think as they should about sexual predators, AIDS, or STDs. Most probably aren't sex addicts or sexually desperate, they are just stupidly trying to exhaust all their options.

I think people look for partners all over the place. Just because they are on the Internet it doesn't mean they have STDS. I am sure you could go to the club in town to get one of those. So long as you tell someone where you are going and who you will be with and use safe sex then its as safe as a blind date.

Most people, especially these days, are fooled into thinking that there will be no consequences for whatever risks they take. There's always someone else to blame, someone to sue, and everyone wants to be the victim and get rich off of someone else.

Not ready to have a baby? Abort it and go back to having unprotected sex.

Got an STD? Sue the person that gave it to you and claim that they should've warned you. Then sue the contraceptive company for not making a big-enough warning on their packaging that they don't protect you from STD's.

People don't care. They want 'instant gratification' without remorse, regret, or consequences.

Its no worse then these phone chat lines some people are willing to take that risk for a quick nutt . I dont think there are sex addicts its just what society is based on now days. Everything is about sex if your not having sex your not cool if your not having sex as often as you can with as many attractive females as you can your not cool .

there are a lot of desperate people out there, who don't care who they have sex with. It's up to the individual to take precautions to prevent std's.

I think because the internet is anonymous, more people are just looking without the intention of finding.

I sure don't...I think maybe it's a shyness thing for some people... I don't think they really intend to meet...just flirt long distance.
