Instead of concentrating on trying to keep illegal immigrants out. Why not eliminate the incentive ? Force employers to pay heavy fines like $50,000 for every illegal immigrant they hire. Even throw in prison time if necessary. Well, why not ?

that's what i have been asking for the longest on here. why do they just go after the employees while the employers go free. I agree with the person who mentioned the companies contributing money to political parties. I also think because aside from the money they all have a few pricy attorneys willing to defend them against anything that's brought against them. i'm still waiting on the minutemen or any other group who so blantantly goes and takes pictures of migrant workers to go and take pictures of the CEO of some upscale company who hires these workers. I guess its all about animal instinct you always tend to prey on the weakest because you know they won't do much to defend themselves and always protect your a@@ from the ones whom you know can rip you apart.

It makes too mush sense! The government isn't enforcing the laws that are currently on the books about hiring of the illegal alien criminals.

However, since the woosie government isn't doing anything we have to use all means possible to stop this invasion. That's why we need to wall and to deport the illegal alien criminals when they are caught.

This also includes deporting the WHOLE FAMILY. They cry about families being split up when one person is deported. Fine, deport them all to keep the family together. BTW, I also include the anchor babies in that bunch.

Because, one, the government wants the taxes. Two, the crime rate is already through the roof, and the government doesn't want to put illegals in a position where they have to resort to that in order to survive. Three, in many cases there would be no Americans who would want to fill the jobs left vacant. Four, the government would effectively be shutting down so many businesses that it would have a terrible effect on many local economies. And five, there are many corporate giants who are employing illegals, and the U.S. government isn't about to put their friends in prison or showcase their use of illegals to the world.

In order to fund his election campaign a politician needs to be liked by rich people, so they say yes to illegals to show that they are on the side of the rich and the foreigners, not the middle class

The ACLU and other wacko lib groups. There's a town in PA that passed a law punishing the employers and landlords of illegals. The ACLU came in threatened legal action that would bankrupt the community. Needless to say the laws were repealed.

Thanks ACLU, from all the hard working LEGAL immigrants

A GOOD question!!!! And that is the ONLY way to STOP the invasion of illegals!!!! Cut off their reason to come here!!!!!

And to "tbone", what about the "better life" that OUR poor people want???? We have people from THIS country who are poor and just want a better life!!! At least our legal citizens DESERVE this "better life" a hell of a lot MORE than these CRIMINALS do!!!!

I don't know. It wouldn't bother me so much if they would speak English. (Not all I realize many do in fact learn to) But I wouldn't go to Mexico and expect people to speak English and push it on them. It's hard to get a job here anymore unless you are bilingual. I want to leave California.

They won't be fined like that because these corporations donate a ton of money to the Democratic and Republican parties. Essentially they have bought protection.

Same reason we go after drug dealers and users instead of the people who finance their operations and profit from them.

Bad for business, and in an evolving fascist state that is also bad for the people using the government for profit.
