Well I moved to Europe so I guess not. The thing that is disappointing is I was always so proud of our Health Care and Social Systems and now they are a shadow of what they were in the 80's. Our governments are short sighted, seeing off our resources and privatizing government industries. Since 9/11 Canada is the country I dread customs of the most (and I was living in the middle east for 18 month of that time) because they are intimadating and essentially bullies in unjustified cases.
You know I have lived all over the world and I used to be proud to say I was Canadian because our country use to be Number 1 on the UN ratings and things like that. We have so much natural resources that could make us great but we don't use them. It is so disappointing.
We are going to come back and give it another try but I have definitely lost faith in my Canada.

I'm quite satisfied, been for the 31yrs I have lived here. Was able to go to university to get an education, have a well paying job, standard of living is good, health care although at times may be slow is universal, safe, clean society to live in, all the freedoms I need, a little cold but for to enjoy all the things I listed I'll live with the cold

Yes very satisfied
Canada is truly one of the best places to live
Just have to look at the newspapers, see the news and I for one
count myself lucky to be born here!
I live in the mountains of B.C, and experience the wilderness and the raw beauty of the place...so am twice as lucky and very happy
As for politics same old same old all over the world!
They are only out for themselves but they are sort of kept on a leash because of voters...people seem to forget WE ARE the Government........

fairly satisfied.. but not complacent..
I would like to see us taking more leadership on the environment, less reliance on the US for trade, fix the problems that plague many of our aboriginal communities, help the poor - but at the same time - quit mollycoddling criminals, streamline our healthcare system and implement a means of recognizing and intergrating skilled immigrants so they can practice theri profession rather thatn drive a taxi..

ALL politicians are not trustworthy, regardless of what country you live in. The only thing that drives me crazy about Canada - is we keep taking in immigrants, and they now have more rights than those of us born here. Welfare, Health care benefits - the whole package. Our PM has no spine, and I don't see things changing any time soon.

All you pick is Canadian citizenship. and you wont would desire to resign your American citizenship. yet why do you want to connect the Canadian military? i think of your listening to someones tale approximately Canada and you think of it is going to likely be plenty extra useful than right here. Which it is.
